Personal Information Collected By Annie's
As required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), we will not collect more personal information from children under 13 than reasonably necessary to participate in activities.
Children are not permitted to join the Young Woodworkers themselves. Adults can sign children up for the Young Woodworkers Kit Club by providing the child's name and address as well as the subscriber's name, address, email address, and credit card information. The use of information provided by adults is governed by Annie's Privacy Pledge.
We may collect demographic information from children, but will not combine such information with children's personal information unless we obtain verifiable parental consent.

Annie's will use a child's personal information for the purpose for which it was provided and as otherwise set forth herein.
We may share a child's personal information with certain independent contractors, vendors and suppliers with whom we contract to provide specific services and products related to the Site or our business, such as hosting and maintaining the Site. Access to and use of a child's personal information by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary in order for them to perform their services. We may also share a child's personal information in the event of a merger, acquisition, transfer of assets or bankruptcy. We may disclose a child's personal information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, subpoenas, or court orders, or to protect the interests or safety of Annie's or other visitors to the Site.
We may share aggregated demographic and other non-identifiable information with third parties from time to time. This information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Parents may consent to the collection and use of their child's personal information without consenting to the disclosure of this information to third parties, unless such parties are providing services on Annie's behalf.
The Site may make available message boards and/or other community functions. All messages may be monitored and edited before posting. Please remember that any information that you disclose in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal, financial or other information. You use community functions at your own risk.
